As authorized by the Governor’s Executive Order No. N- 29-20, those interested in making public comments, may call on Tuesday, January 19th, 2021 between 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at (323) 887-1200 ext. 493.  Staff will complete public comment cards in the order received.  The public will be called during the Planning Commission meeting that begins at 6:30 p.m. The exact call back time is not predictable due to the nature of the Planning Commission agenda.  As a result, you must be available until the end of the meeting to receive a live call from staff during the meeting.  In addition, the City has created an email address This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. where the public can submit public comments up to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 19th, 2021. These questions will be read out loud and submitted for the record.  The email address for Planning Commission meetings can be located on the City’s webpage under https://www.cityofmontebello.com/planning-commission-meeting.html. 

In accordance with the Governor’s Order (N-29-20), the City has established a dial-in number to accommodate members of the public who are interested in observing the Planning Commission meeting via a telephonic Dial-in process.  Please refer to the Meeting Agenda for dial-in information.  As part of the City’s security measures, those members of the public wishing to merely call-in (for the purposes of “observing”) shall be placed on mute unless they have contacted City staff as indicated in the public notification indicating they wish to comment during the meeting.  Those wishing to comment will be called by staff during the meeting as the item they wish to speak on is presented.

These meetings are open to the public, and public comment on city planning issues is encouraged.

Plannng Commissioners are apointed by each City Councilperson and  may not serve on more than one commission at the same time.
